Simplex 4090-9001 Addressable IAM Module

The Simplex 4090-9001 Individual Addressable Module (IAM) integrates one initiating device, or multiple devices installed at the same location, into an addressable fire alarm system.

Power and communication are supplied through a single pair of wires connected to the IDNet circuit. The module supervises normally open dry contacts and the wiring connected to an end-of-line resistor. When a contact closes, the module sends the condition to the fire alarm control panel, which activates the programmed alarm or response. An open circuit in the supervised wiring is reported as a trouble condition.
